August Break #18 - Ice Cream Cones

It's the season for ice cream (well, isn't it always...)
and the cones it's put into.

Do you like ice cream in a cone or do you prefer a bowl?

I love the big fat waffle cones, like the ones in the middle of this picture.
And chocolate ice cream.
It's been my favorite since I was a child.

What is your favorite ice cream?

Oooh, mouth=watering photo! I like waffle cones too, and wafers (we used to call them 'sliders' in my home town), with homemade lemon or lime and coconut ice-cream. Yum!

If I have a cone, it has to be a waffle cone... My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip. But the best "ice-cream-ish" thing I've ever had was cantaloupe gelato in Italy - amazing!

I have a cone every evening for desert. Right now, I'm partial to Nestle Drumstick. :)

Yum yum! My husband and I will occasionally say to one another, "Did you say Dairy Queen???"... even if nothing has been said. Then we have no choice but to go get DQ. It's a sad day when the ice cream places close around here for the winter, but that give us an event to look forward to in spring!

Ice cream lovers will understand...

OK, in Port Orford I had a whopping big "single scoop" of coconut ice cream on a lovely waffle cone (not the huge kind). I was totally aghast that the price was something like $1.65. It was awesome and even better at such a bargain price!!

I love Trader Joe's mint & chip! but, I'm also partial to chocolate anything (but I do draw the line at Chocolate, Chocolate Chip = too much sweetness = makes my teeth hurt thinking about it).

I LOVE ice cream...in a cone or a dish, in the winter, in the summer, especially vanilla with chocolate chunks in it! :-)
