August Break #3 - Lazy Days

Ah, the lazy days of summer.

It was a hot day today - we hadn't had that for quite a while. It's a weird summer this year. My tomatoes are still green. The peppers grow only slowly. The eggplants are tiny. Only the zucchini and pumpkins are doing really well.
I guess Northern California belongs more to the Pacific Northwest than to the rest of California.
Fine with me.

How's your summer?

That's a relaxing photo! Ours is not quite warm enough for tee-short and shorts. :)

This is such a cute reminds me of myself as a child; I always had a book in my hand, especially in the summer. Lucky you to have it cool, here it is hot, hot, hot ~ I would love your cooler summers.

I spend a lot of time in the evening with a good book in our hammock. Last night my husband beat me to it. Drats!
Yours has a nice pillow.
Otherwise, it looks a lot like mine. We also have same shoes in different colors. I think sometimes we are a lot alike, more than not. ;-)

My summer is fine, the weather is not though, here in Holland. We have lots of rain and low C's, so not much of a summer there. But I make the best of it, Spain in september will do me good

I'm drooling over your hammock!
Don't know if we would have enough space on our condo patio, but it certainly looks appealing enough to take some measurements & put this on the "wish list" for next spring.

Hi Carola, loving all your photos! I've been lazy this summer too. Our vegetable garden is having the same issues. The tomatoes are green and struggling to get big. The peppers just now got flowers, the zucchini and squash are very small. What's up with this? Maybe it's because we've had a very cool summer? It's only broke 90 degrees three times. Weird.
