WOYWW - The Complete Disaster Zone

Hello dear WOYWWers, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and a great start into the new year. I look forward to visiting more of your desks on Wednesdays in 2011.

Oh my... Just a week ago I came back from my vacation in the Southwest, when I found my work table exactly the same way I had left it (no little elves came in and cleaned it up) and still it is a mere mess. Let me rephrase this - my entire room is a total disaster zone!!

On the table:
And on the floor:

Honestly, there is currently only one way around the table and I haven't taken a picture of that (because it is also pretty crowded, but at least I can put my feet down without fearing to step on something).

This needs SERIOUS clean-up!!!

Especially since I need to design my next class, "Cupid's Greetings" - surprisingly the class is already half full, so I guess it will be a go. Which means that I have to move my fat butt and clean up the mess, put away the Christmas stuff and get out the hearts and little angels with arrows... but no pink, I swear!

Some of you had asked to see the tags I did in my last class, here they are:

I got the idea for the angel tag in the upper right corner from Jozart during one of my WOYWW-visits to her blog, and one of Sir Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas gave me the inspiration for the tag with the birds.

If you want to see work tables that are either much tidier than mine or even messier (if that is possible), you can find a long list at Julia's blog, Stamping Ground. Enjoy the trip around the world!

Well I am really impressed and love your individual interpretation of my original! Glad I could be a little inspirational and thanks for the credit too. I love your room, as messy as you THINK it is, it is such a lovely space in which to craft. Look good to me as it is!

It just looks like you had some fun creating before going on holidays. Now have some fun re-organizing. #97

I'd love to have a crafting spot that looks outdoors... I can ONLY see a tree from my second story condo window... love your "creative stacks" - note that I didn't call it a "mess"

I don´t think your space loks any different than any other after the Christmas bomb of a frenzy of creating things. My DH is home this week and he said he would help me clean up my room....well we opend the door took one look inside and he siad,,,nahhh, let´s go skiing:)So hence; no blogging as I am in the winter wonderland of ski bunnies and hot chocolate...I guess you could say it is better than cleaning can´t you? So my mess awaits me toooooo....no biggy though,,,it will eventually take care of itself as I am sure it will at your house too.
Have fun!!!

I certainly see creativity in abundance here, and that's evident by your lovely tags! I like the snowman tag a lot, especially since it is a different size than you typically see. Yay for you that your class is already near full. If I lived nearby I would certainly be in your class! Happy WOYWW Carola! Hugs ~

oh wow-you really like to spread out don't you. I think if I had the space I would too, just imagine all that in half the space! Great tags.

Those tags are simply gorgeous; I especially love the birds and the divine grace. I don't think operation clean-up will actually take you that long, as most things seem to be already in boxes. If you want some help from the elves, two have just returned from the godchildren's place where they spent Christmas. I should warn you that they are prone to mischief, so if you can live with snowball fights and them raiding the fridge, I can send them over to help clear up...

Gorgeous tags, Carola - such a beautiful variety! Your work space isn't quite as bad as mine.... I think I can still see parts of the floor in yours, ROFL!!

Lol, finally we get to see the whole room and not just a little bit of the table! I can see now why you've been hiding it all these weeks! Beautiful tags though, really love the tall snowman one, but they're all lovely.

What a lovely spacious room with nice big windows.

Yes, I've found out too that you can't trust those elves to get everything tidied up while you're away.

Ah Carola - you have to get to a point of being fed up with it before you can blitz it and move on I think. It all looks like it's been laid out for me to have a good rummage around to be honest..fave photo of the week by far!!

I've been here twice and couldn't leave a comment. I rebooted and tried again. Now my name comes up in the comments box. Just wanted to thank you for all the lovely comments you've left me and I'd be glad to come help clean up your mess as long as I got to play in your studio for one day. Love that view, too.
