I visited Bryce in the spring...now I wish I would have seen it in the winter, just wonderful in the snow. Spectacular!

Mother Nature´s own abstract paintings. I have only been there in summer....just a wonderful place to go in any season.

I'd never heard the term "Hoodoo" but learned that it's "a tent rock, fairy chimney, or earth pyramid - a tall, thin spire of rock that protrudes from the bottom of an arid drainage basin."
isn't it amazing that the snow formed perfect lines around the rocks? Mother Nature at her best!
Carola - thanks for the new word!!
