Little Bison

While touring the Dakotas a few years ago, we visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota and were delighted by all the bison, big and small, who lingered by the side of the road and weren't shy at all.

This is for Weekend Reflections.

I have never seen bison, your photo is interesting because of that but also I love your composition - the mirrored view plus your actual view.

What a great shot, Carola. And the baby bison is adorable, although we know it will grow to be incredibly huge and shaggy.

I grew up in North Dakota, but have never seen any buffalo roaming. lol Wrong part of the state I guess. I love buffalo! We use to go to St. John's for buffalo feeds. Delicious!
