Wow - it's WOYWW

Hello WOYWWers, how are you doing? I hope you are all doing well and for those who aren't I wish that you will be better soon.

Sorry I missed last Wednesday, life got in the way (again), but I'm happy to be back today! If you have no clue what I'm rambling about, just hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground to get the full picture.

So what's on my desk today (or yesterday evening when I took this picture, it hasn't changed much since then)? Angels!!! I've joined Louise Gale's Creative Color Challenge Ornament Swap and am preparing these angels as my contribution. I have loved these little guys since my daughter was a baby. I found the template in a German crafting magazine and since then have made an angel for her window every year for Christmas. This is the first time, however, that I add some painting.

THIS came in the mail and shows how hopping around the desks on Wednesday can directly effect you. Sometime in September Michelle at Thistles happy place posted some crafty stuff that she got and I left a comment that I like the sticky ribbon (on the left). She then asked for my address and mailed me the ribbon PLUS all the other yummy stuff that you can see here. Now, how sweet is that? Thank you so much, Michelle, I love my new stash!

I hope to visit as many of you as possible - I have several projects going, but I'm sure that every little break will be spent at the computer, hopping around the world. See you there!

Oh, die sind ja süß. Als meine Kinder noch klein waren haben wir auch jedes Jahr zu Weihnachten gebastelt. Mittlerweile beschränkt sich meine Bastelei auf das Stempeln ;)

Hey there Carola love those adorable angels.

How generous of Michelle to send all that stuff to you. I think if I remember rightly - she lives in Sheffield which isn't a million miles away from me.

Thank you for visiting me - and reading back on my older posts and about my 'rubbish year'!!! Hopefully back on track now though.

Carola, your angels are delightful and I love the idea of making your daughter one each year, I hope you keep them for her? I have only ever known one other Carola, she was Dutch and lived in South Africa... do you pronounce it Carooola, as she did? Annette#58

Ah what a nice tradition! And of course, the template, tried and trusted for years, is a charming one. I get so much out of Wednesday's, it's just a fab thing!

what cute angels and the paper under them is wonderful. It may just be a there to protect your table but it is beautiful with all the colors on it.

Gorgeous desk and I love the angels, can't wait to see them finished.

The little paper backgrounds are Paper Artsy papers from PaperArtsy.co.uk
I do prefer the traditional colour scheme for Christmas of red green and gold, but these are stunning papers and a few posts down on my blog I made a Christmas screen using them. They are fab.

Have a great week. A.xx(4)

It's bad enough that I am running nearly a week late, then I have been plagued with that pesky 503 error all night. Just wanted to drop in and let you know I was here this week. I love the little angels ready for assembly all in a row. That's organized!
