He ventures closer, still pretending he looks anywhere else but to the chair.
But finally he couldn't contain his curiosity. He decided to ... help.
However, just sitting on the back of the chair is not enough. Let's see whether we can get a bit more comfortable.
This helping business is so much fun! Let's just rest the eyes for a minute.
All this helping is really exhausting!
What? The chair is still not done? After all the help?
Finally...
Here I am enjoying my first cup of morning coffee - on the seventh day of March.
And the best thing about this chair? It comes with a wine glass holder!
Cat and human faces are for Nicole's Friday Face Off.
On the internet - I forgot where - I found another wonderful cattitude image that I don't want to keep from you. I can almost hear the cat "speak".

Love your teal Adirondack chair! I have a couple in that colour too for my balcony, but mine are hard moulded plastic so no assembly was required!
...Carola, you area a fortunate lady! There no way that I would assemble that chair. My Sweetie knows not to ask!
Oh this is so funny. Your sweet man looking at instructions and the cat taking over. Then when the chair is done and you are sitting in it your cat is looking at you like, "What the heck, that's my chair." Anyway that's what I got out of it. Oh very nice chair with a wind glass holder. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a nice weekend.
Your narrative about Kibeau, the handicat, made me laugh. That is a great looking chair, and you look so comfy, knitting with your glass of wine. Happy FFO!
What a great story about the help a lazy cat gives.:)
It was nice to see the finished chair and you on it, and all of it outside, so the weather is nice.
Thanks.
Lovely chair! Beautiful colour and your cat is so cute! You look fantastic! Have a wonderful weekend!
Delightful kitty helper and sweet photos of all the hard work from hubby and kitty and a wine holder besides ~ Wow! hugs ^_^
Oh, and "Can't pluck the funiture"😁 I will never understand people who don't like cats ... they are loving , don't cost much to feed, listen when you say "pssst" play with their toys, purrrr when you pet them, rub against your legs and yes, of course, help put together a chair with a wine glass holder. What's not to like? Oh, if you wander back to my post, I added a comment to your comment :) Have a great week Carola ...

I like that chair! Bonus that it holds a glass of wine. My favorite treat :)
Beautiful chair, but how do you get the wine glass in place? (Life's important questions) I loved this hilarious post, Carola. Kibeau is a classic cat and absolutely adorable. So is your geek for assembling your chair. May you enjoy many cups of morning coffee in it.
Oh I like that chair. What a great color. and that's a cool wineglass holder. And ha ha, isn't that just like a kitty.? Enjoy your new chair and some garden time. hugs-Erika
This is so charming! Well, of course I am a bit in love with Kibeau -- what a fine helper! And the chair is terrific -- love the blue. And the sleeping cat pix are especially lovely. Cheers for the Geek!
Loved the photos and really like your chair Happy weekend
Firstly, kudos to The Geek for being someone who can follow the instructions provided with any kit you have to assemble yourself, and kudos to the manufacturers for include a holder for a wine glass. Perfection was achieved that day! Many hugs - David
I left you a comment earlier, but got a "Failed to Publish." I think I accidentally deleted my message. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I will try.
You had me at Catitude. I love anything cats. That is just like a cat, too! Aloof until they aren't. What great photos of Kibeau. He is a beauty and so helpful (grin). Love the wine glass addition to the arm. Love all three of your faces at FFO.
That Adirondack chair looks great.
Such sweet photographs of Kibeau.
Enjoy your weekend.
All the best Jan
Funny post, cats are so similar everywhere :)
The chair looks perfect with your wine and your knitting and a cat to keep you company too. What more could a woman ask for :) B x
I love ❤️ the green 💚 Adirondack chair. Lovely photos. There is something so soothing about watching a cat sleep.
I suspect that the chair helper, Kibeau, may have wanted to sit in after it was completed. We had a couple of similar chairs at our VA home. They looked good on the back patio, and we found getting into them easier than getting out. Nice that yours included a wine glass holder!
Preciosas las fotos del gatito ayudante jaja. Me encanta tu silla nueva. Muchos besos.
