I'm still full with all the images of our coastal trip. This was one of my most favorite trips ever and I deeply fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. No wonder that it is a topic in my creative work as well. Here is my newest art journal page, just finished this morning.
I used some patterned paper scraps, book page, cardstock, acrylic paints, two stamps and PITT pens.

I'm thrilled to hear of someone falling in love with the Pacific Northwest because it is, obviously, attached to Canada's Pacific southwest where I spent most of my life. My hometown, on the Pacific by the US border, will always be home to me, no matter how long I live out here on the prairie.

I especially love the silhouette! And the sunset type colors...from a distance I can see the shape of the cross formed by the windows and door of the house. So good to see what you have been up to!

I love the contrast of the beautiful sunny orange and the and dark shadow. Beautiful! I am often so inspired by art journal pages--I really do need to start one of my own!
I love all the colors and textures to this piece, you've really captured a sort of bittersweet longing for the place- and that heart was the perfect finishing touch; gorgeous!
