WOYWW 103

Hello WOYWWers, the last WOYWW before the anniversary!! Woohoo! Are you excited about next week?

This week I'm working on my art journal again. I've neglected it for quite a while, but am back now. I'm gessoing pages so that they're ready when I want to create a bit, and I've started this background with craft paint (orange) and heavy body acrylics (teal). I've also started another 5x5 canvas that is sitting on top of my modpodge jar.

If you want to know how the owl canvas turned out that I started last week, you can see it here.

The WOYWW's home is Julia's blog Stamping Ground where you can find a list of all participants - take a look and then visit all the other crafty people around the globe. It's a great journey.

Love your use of colours in your journal - it looks like where I live in the UK - Norfolk - on the east coast. the coastline looks just like your orange bit!

Ooh Carola, you have a jar of Prima flowers..I thought it was just me that still had a nearly full jar of the original style! And my keen eye spots a Paperartsy stamp mount - are you going to use it on that fab journal page? Wow.

Do you know, I was only thinking the other day how I have neglected my art journal. It really is something I must get back into as i enjoy it so much when I am working.
Thanks for showing your beginning and spurring me on to start myself. I love the blue and orange - great complimentary colours. Hugs, Neet #11

What a pain blogger is at the moment. I am still having trouble getting to leave comments. That owl canvas is great, you are such a talented lady.

With the advent of spring planting, I've been very lax on my crafting. Love seeing what others are doing though. :)

I've just been over to check out your Owl canvas, great work :-)
As always you have some intersting things going on with paint and paper, you show just enough to keep us guessing how the art will look when complete.
