In the Laguna I saw some barbed wire fences, and many of them were quite rusty - or at least their posts were.
This one looks pretty good - no rust as far as I can see -, but I think that was the only one.
Lichen took over this post - and what is the barbed wire doing anyway?
The rust here has such a deep color - I really like it.
However, I like the close-ups of the barbed wire best - like this "vegetarian" one.
I'm linking with Theresa's Good Fences - thank you for hosting every week, Theresa!

Only you could make me see beauty in barbed wire... Thank you.
Bei dem 2. Zaunbild fasziniert mich, wie er zusammengeflickt wurde. Stark!

Good capture of that barb wire fence and do love the look of that hazy morning!

Hi Carola, Some very creative snaps here to go with Good Fences. Theresa's meme has lifted fences to a new level. I am often surprised by the number of comments I get from folks who view Good Fences when I am linked up there.
Wow, beautiful fence captures..I never knew barbed wire could look so good. Have a happy day!
Your presentation of these thorny, rusty fence and posts is superb! I especially like the mood of each photo beginning with my most favorite in photo number one.
fine shots! old fencing can become art. :)
Love that rust as well. You are so good at your work. I love the name for the last one, "vegetarian." That wire look beautiful but makes me think I need a tetanus shot.:)) Have a great day.
Nice captures. I do love me some rust.
Your first picture with the open field, the fog and the beautiful tree is a "Wow" shot ... the others are good as well and I love rust, don't ask me why, it just seems to say so much about the item it lives on. These are great Carola, barbed wire and all ...

I like rust too, and know that the farmer hates it! I don't know why he/she didn't cut off the extra fencing rather than looping it over the post, but I see that a lot. Maybe there isn't enough left to do anything with. Great shots!
Carola, the fence repairs or whatever seem very strange, right? I like the posts with the red tops. Not sure why you would do that?
These are awesome. The rust is so cool and lichen tops it off. I do like the bent wire on that one shot but I think my favorite was the very first one with that fabulous looking tree in the background.
Love the mistin the first shot an dall the close ups of the rusty fence post
I share your love of good rust ... these images are truly fantastic!
Great pics! I had a run-in with barbed wire at my Papa's farm as a child. I tore my Dale Evans cowgirl skirt trying to climb through the fence :(

I love the rust. :)
Das dritte ist mein erklärter Liebling, das ist Kunst! :-)
