WOYWW 96

Another Wednesday!!! This IS getting fast...

Hello WOYWWers, how are you today? Do you have spring feelings or does winter still have a strong grip in your area? I am happy to say that we have had some lovely weather, I've been working in the garden a lot and I even had my first few naps in the hammock. That clearly spells good times for me.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments last week. I am sorry that I can't get around to everyone, but I try to visit as many desks as possible. It's something I thoroughly enjoy and I always get my Wednesday inspiration.

So, on my table today - another girl. Now, what a surprise...

I seem to be pretty addicted to making these girls. This one is almost done - the phrase has to go on there
(something along the lines of "she loved tending to her garden") and something else that I am still not sure of, and then it will be done. Before I said that I am a rather slow worker, but this canvas was done rather quickly; especially the background was completed fast. Needless to say that I enjoyed it very much again.

Please visit the Queen of snoop, Julia, to find a long list of other creative people who show their busy or messy or tidy desks. Have fun!

I think your latest girl is very cute. Love the color scheme and the juicy textures. The "Life is Good" sentiment does it for me. I think she's ready for a frame. :-)

What lovely happy colours. I love your girl paintings. I am very jealous of your naps in the hammock. The weather is getting better here but not warm enough to work outside yet. Are you sure that's not the reason why you are usually a slow worker??? LOL
Happy WOYWW

Your phrase should be "Take time to watch the flowers grow" !! We are all so busy and need to rest a while!
Thanks for your kind comments on mine. The badge was given to me by my SIL's parents in Lueneburg who attend peaceful demonstrations at 5pm every Monday, (all over Germany), against nuclear power. With the nuclear disaster in Japan the people attending have multiplied.

I love the canvas Carola, and yep, we can sometimes get a bit OCD over certain things - I still have salt dough dolls begging to be born, and their skeletons rattle everytime I move the baking trays around the table,

Ah that's a lovely one Carola, she's so cheerful and spring like...no doubt the phrase will pop into your head whilst you're outside enjoying the garden. So nice to hear and enjoy tales of spring.

Such happy colours you have used! Made me smile. Here Summer is almost over and we can start feeling a chill in the air at night, but its much easier to sleep in the cold than the heat, so I am not complaining.
Happy belated WOYWW

We have hot sunshine too, very unseasonal for Arpil in the UK but I'm not complaining I love it too.
Your canvas is brilliant. I love all the colours and the sentiment is perfect.
