Red Phonebooth

Since all eyes are on London these two weeks I thought to contribute with the image of a typical British phonebooth somewhere in the English countryside for August Break. Have a lovely Sunday!

Carola we haven't had red telephone boxes for over a decade.. they all went when BT took over, I actually saw one in Dijon (go figure) last year, and - check with JoZaty, I think there might still be one in Liverpool. I suspect there are very very few left in England,

a lot of 'state us' (me trying to be clever with a play on words that probably only works if you say it our loud so it = status) symbols have disappeared as we have privatised all our industry in the hot pursuit of personal wealth and capitalism...

never the less

you brought back memories of happy childhood walks in our derbyshire villages.

Ah - now I just feel old!!!!

Aw, nice one! even here in England they're getting a bit rare, mostly just in villages now.

So retro -- I wonder how many are left? I love the composition with the two reds.
