Dragonfly

Often I see beautiful dragonflies in my garden. Blue and this rusty-orange ones. They glide over the flowers, always in constant motion. They play with their peers, chasing each other. Seldom they just sit down and relax, not moving at all. Luckily, when this beauty decided to take a rest on top of a trellis I was ready.

I love dragonfly images, but, in real life, they freak me out a bit!

Beautiful dragonfly, Carola!

I have seen many varieties of dragonflies this summer, all so delicate and lovely.

None of our dragonflies are so gorgeous ... or maybe they are but they are so common that we get habituated to them. This is a magnificent picture ... do you know what kind of Drangonfly it is? You must have skipped back into the house with your camera after that shot. Thanks Carola ... I love it.
