T Stands for Tuesday Giveaway

Here we are at the second day of the new year and it's time for my annual giveaway. Those of you who have read my blog for a while know the drill - choose three of the following 15 photos and let me know which ones (just mention the numbers) in the comments. By the end of the weekend I will draw the name of one commenter (the old fashioned way, with names in a hat) who will get photo cards of the three images s/he chose. 

I had a hard time this year to choose the 15 favorite photos - I started out with more than double the amount and had to eliminate so many - that was a difficult process. But I am quite happy with my selection now and I hope you will be, too. While going through the photos and decide on the final 15, I had some hot chocolate in the mug above that I bought several years ago from an Etsy shop. You can see that it has some wear, but even though it's chipped, I love it and use it often. Two small Stroopwafels were very welcome as well. This top photo, of course, is for Bleubeard and Elizabeth's T Tuesday.

T Tuesday Has a Winner!

Hello T gang! This will be short and quick - last week you voted on 15 of my photos and today I can show you which photos made the cut.

Third place is "Rocks on the Beach"

"The  Ocean at Sunset" took second place.

I find it interesting that both of these photos were taken on the same beach in Bandon, OR, at Face Rock, just minutes apart.

Here we are for the first T Tuesday post in 2022, kindly hosted by the lovely Elizabeth at Altered Book Lover. I hope all of you had a good New Year's and I wish you only the best for 2022. The end of the old year and the beginning of the new one was pretty chilly here in my part of the world, with frosty nights and even some snow (we usually don't get much snow). So we had hot chocolate in the afternoons, one of the things I love about winter.

As usual in January, I'm giving away three photo cards of photos I have taken in the last year. Just like in 2020 I didn't take as many pictures in 2021 as I usually do - something I want to change in 2022.

Although my phone has an excellent camera, my photography lacks my usual creativity that I most enjoy when going out with my DSLR.
