This T Tuesday post will only be a short one. On Friday I'll have my knee surgery and there is still a lot to do before that - as long as I can still walk! I have no idea how long it will take afterwards until I will be fully able to walk again (I'm already dreaming of my first hike), but I guess I'll become a master in hopping (just in time for Easter!).
Anyway, another month went by and I continued my 366 project of taking (at least) one photo every day.
There is one photo I want to show you in a bigger size - our daughter sent us a "care package" with lots of delicious German sweets that we like - Aachener Printer (in the paper bag), coffee chocolate, Duplo, nougat, "Hungarian" chips and more. She knows exactly what we like - she is such a wonderful person (I say this completely unbiased of course).
Last but not least, here are the ATC and postcards that I received from Elizabeth. I had wanted to post this before, but somehow always forgot to do it. Finally - thank you so much, Elizabeth! I think you know that I especially like this sweet ATC.
I wish all of you a good week and a lovely T Tuesday.
...of course you are completely unbiased, I would be too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for your 366 project I suspect I could take a photo a day around here every day, but it wouldn't be as incredibly unique as yours. I absolutely adore each of these. And lucky you that Kaefer knows exactly the things to include in a care package.
ReplyDeletethe grapefruit soda sounds delicious. I am not fond of the really sweet drinks, so this sounds like something I would enjoy. Thanks for sharing your incredible photos, art, and Italian grapefruit juice with us for T this week, dear Carola.
I'm glad you got the ATC, etc. I only had ONE Thank You postage stamp and you know it was for that incredible and adorable kitty you knitted for me.
I forgot to mention. I think EVERYTHING at the Spice Merchant is expensive.
ReplyDeleteGreat post. What a nice care package. I would love to try that Italian grapefruit soda. Thats sounds so refresing. I really enjoy your monthly projects. Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteGoodies!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck with your knee surgery, Carola, and enjoy the goodies sent by your loving daughter!
ReplyDeleteI love your choice for photos for February. The green and the garden...in February. And your daughter is very sweet to send you a care package. I love trying sweets and snacks (well food too) from other places, and this looks like a great treat to me. But mostly I want to say good luck with your surgery FRiday, and I hope you are back up and moving soon. Happy T day. hugs-Erika
(Sorry, Aussie-Netbook ohne Umlaute).
I’m not sure our TJ’s still has grapefruit soda, but maybe I just missed it. All your goodies are tempting, and I hope you enjoy them while you are recovering from surgery. And I hope that goes very well and that you soon are back to normal (or better).

Your 366 project is coming along nicely, with lovely images filling up the squares. How sweet of your daughter to send all of those delicious treats chosen with you both in mind. I hope your surgery on Friday goes well and that the healing won't take too long.
ReplyDeleteThe mosaic looks so wonderful with so many nature scenes
ReplyDeleteLoving your 366 February project, I so enjoyed seeing all your photos. What a fabulous care package from your daughter, that's so thoughtful and you've got lots of yummy treats there - enjoy 😊. So lovely to see your happy T Day mail too - perfect! Take care and Happy T Day ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteOf course you are unbiased! All the very best with the knee surgery, Carola. I hope that you will soon be gambolling like a lamb in spring. Hugs and best wishes - David
ReplyDeleteHapp T Day. I hope your surgery goes well, my new knee Op went very well, I could walk without a limp after 3 weeks! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I like the sound of taking a picture every day ,because, I practically do that anyway! Where do I join in!? I love all the things in your surprice box! Yummy chocolate, which I'm not suppose to have, but do! Happy T day! (Lyn)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! 366, one every day? I take a lot of photos with my phone when out walking, but they don’t come out as wonderful as yours. Sending hugs for your knee surgery Friday. Take care.
ReplyDeleteAlles Liebe

Will be thinking of you and hoping the surgery goes well with a speedy recovery. You can do lots of reading while recuperating. And you can take pics of your garden!
ReplyDeleteIt's Thursday today and your surgery is tomorrow. I wish you all the best and I hope the operation goes well and that you will recover according to schedule.
ReplyDeleteYou have lots of goodies to get you through the rehabilitation period. That was so sweet of her to send you that.
Sorry I'm late in commenting. (Busy week)

Carola, best wishes to you on your upcoming surgery and recovery. Several people we know have had this procedure and all went well afterwards. It was nice that your daughter sent you all those treats which I’m sure will be enjoyed as your recuperate. I liked your February photo a day as well.
