Thanks for calling by my WOYWW - about the Claudine Hellmuth paints....I love them - great consistency, vibrant tones and they are just so versatile - love to stamp with them. Great watered down too for tinting and colour-washes. I also have the extended drying medium too which is handy...I did an online course of hers last year and discovered lots of new things. I'm no paint expert but they really are fab paints... Hope this helps! Sarah
I love how you photograph! the second one looks like a collage, yes? Wonderful. Is the top one too? I love these as well. Let's see, the flower that amazes me the most is the passion flower, grows on a vine. It's multilayered like a wonderful design of nature.
PS I finished the book last night, finally. Yes, I enjoyed it. Thanks. I have one more of hers to read on hand: The Pact...am taking a short break and reading some short stories...then will get back to her.
California poppies are so happy, I have tried to grow them here but I think my garden is too cold! Will have to make do with our flame red ones to warm us up!
You definitely found my HAPPY flower! I love CA poppies - every year they bloom on the side of the freeway and I look forward to seeing them. Your photos are beautiful and thank you for the lovely comments on my blog
Now that you say, it, Carola, I remember all those California poppies from years ago. I fell in love with them back then. Lucky for me, they're everywhere here in the Netherlands right now, so I'm falling in love with them all over again. Your images are delightful.
