On Easter a friend came by and brought these roses from her garden. I wish we had Google-Nose or something like that so you could smell their lovely fragrance. It's such a delight.
I love the popping color before the black backdrop. Perfect for
Texture Tuesday. I processed it with Kim's texture "Magic Scripted" in blending mode screen at 100%. I love the outcome.
Of course there had to be a bird in the picture,,,
That is one of my most favourite colours for roses. Thank you - and your friend.
ReplyDeleteThat texture was a perfect compliment to an already beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteWunderschön, Carola!
ReplyDeleteIch liebe ja Rosen und diese Farbe ist wunderschön :) Und die Bearbeitung gefällt mir sehr :))
Liebe Grüße

Hi Carola, Thanks to your photography I can almost smell that rose. Your suggestion for Google-Nose is awesome. Maybe someday?! John
ReplyDeleteI wish we had some google nose too!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love orange and black tones together. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo and roses!
ReplyDeleteHey, Carola...I like your idea of a Google-Nose, so we can smell the rose. Most of our roses don't have that much aroma.

I had coral roses in my wedding bouquet. One of my favorite rose colors too. I agree about the black background-really pops this color. The bird salt saker is so cute and fits right in with this still life.
ReplyDeleteYou've captured it beautifully. I can almost smell it. David Austin roses have exotic smells that just fly you to the moon. Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteThis texture plays well with the beautiful rose. I think I can almost smell it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. What a glorious color . . . fantastic against the background. Love the ink bottle for a vase.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses, and I love the dark backdrop too.
ReplyDeleteLovely roses and I like this photo with the black background!
