Curious Squirrel

We have several squirrels in our backyard. They usually hang out at the bird feeders, but they also love to explore my garden, chase each other up the trees and along the fence. This one was super curious and even dared to come up to our big living room windows, peeking in. I was lucky that I just sat on the sofa and had my camera next to me.

Isn't she super adorable - and a bit sassy?

  4. We have ground squirrels here and they seem to be more skittish than the tree-dwelling kind. They enjoy foraging for dropped seeds under the bird feeder. They're cute, but unfortunately pretty destructive. They dig holes everywhere and do a lot of damage in the garden.

  5. Yes, it is beautiful. Youo should draw it. I like squirrels but they get into everything. We don't have any right now, but have had some in the past. Thanks for sharing you great photo.

  6. Brilliant shot! What a wonderful photo. Your squirrel looks quite trim compared to ours. She has been stuffing herself with the fat balls and peanuts on the bird feeding station, and obviously doesn't get chased enough, lol!

  7. What a great shot. I like squirrels as long as they aren't digging up the garden.
