Hello WOYWWers - yes, it's me. After not participating in WOYWW for three weeks due to that darn surgery, I'm finally back. I actually wanted to be back last week, but then I had a pretty bad day and didn't feel like blogging at all. But today I'm in good spirits, and it's just great to be back in the craziness that Julia at the
Stamping Ground has started two years ago.
I never have had a chance to show you the PiF I got from Jennie at
The Artistic Stamper - it's a little journal that she altered, and I think it is so beautiful. I love little journals, so this was exactly the right thing for me! Jennie did a really fabulous job.
My PiF went to
Helen - a tag with one of my girls. I enjoyed making this.
So, and talking of journals, this is on my table this week:
My daughter saw the little journals that I had made some time ago and asked me whether I could create two for her dolls who are obviously very active journalers. She loved the one that is lying to the left and wants one in blue and one in green. She was very specific in her "order".
These are some of the little journals I made; the base are the small composition books that you can buy at Staples and Office Depot (and probably many more other places as well). I sold them at a Christmas bazaar and these are the ones that are left.
Gosh you have been busy they are cute jouranals.Love your pif gift from jennie the cover is beautiful!Thought my mat was dirty and inky very creative design...lol

ReplyDeletegood to see you back on a Weds,
sorry i haven't called in recently - was AWOL in Wales with no connection to anything except my sanity...
you surgery is still recent and although scopic procedures leave few external marks - quite a lot was done inside - so please take your time recovering and expect to have down days every so often,
I will come back at the weekend and look at what I have missed...

I LOVE Wednesdays so that I can stop by your blog and see what project you are currently creating.
ReplyDeleteI am SO glad that you are feeling well again and I hope that health continues through the next few weeks.
I LOVE these journals and think that perhaps I should make one for my trip to Paris. What do you think?
I so appreciate all your wonderful tips and encouraging comments. I just need to 'get over myself' and realize that no one gives a whit about my dining alone :)

ReplyDeleteYour PIF is adorable. And I am in awe of those small composition notebooks. Very detailed, too. Sounds like your daughter is a bit fussy. Too funny.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're feeling better each day, take it easy though, don't rush things. Love the gift you received and also your lovely tag you sent to Helen. Cute little journals and I love that stamps too.
