Boy, I'm late for this week's
Paint Party Friday and
Sneak Peek Friday - simply because I just finished the hands for the Helping Hands for Japan project a few minutes ago. If you don't know what this is and you're on Facebook, you can check it out
here and hopefully join - it's a great way to help raise money for the victims for the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear catastrophe in northeastern Japan. Every little bit helps.
Truth be told, I'm not quite sure whether these hands are really done. I have the feeling that something is still missing, on the other hand (!) I certainly don't want to overload them. What do you think?
Short and sweet today - please feel free to visit all the other fantastic artists. It is very inspiring.

Carola - LOVE your Helping Hands for Japan! Mine are almost done too, trying to rush the drying process so I can ship them out! Good to see you here (at PPF) - have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hands and for such a great cause. Annette x
ReplyDeleteHi Carola - I love the hands! Just as they are. I know what you mean thought about not knowing when something is done. It's all very intuitive and when you get to a certain point, you don't want to do anything that might ruin what you already have. Love all the projects for Japan. I will be posting my little birds tomorrow. Have a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI love the hands/gloves. It's a good thing what you and others are doing to help. Love your hands and they do look complete. Very nicely done. Happy PPF!

ReplyDeleteI think this is awesome! A wonderful way to support Japan...I love them just the way they are, but it does occur to me that perhaps a ring on one of the fingers? Perhaps a flower "ring" on the left hand, third finger? But they are great as they are...and I am in love with the color combination!
ReplyDeleteHi Carola. Your hands are awesome. I love the color. They look very oriental. I'd say they are done. So glad you joined in the project. :-)
