OMG - it's Wednesday

Hello WOYWWers, I hope all of you feel well on this cold day, and those who don't I wish that you'll be better real soon. I can't believe that we're already in the last month of the year - we just celebrated Thanksgiving in this corner of the world and now it's "Christmassy" wherever you look. On the radio they only play Christmas music to make sure that everybody is sick of it when Christmas comes around. How sad.

Of course it's also Christmas on my work table - I'm still working on the "Christmas tags" class that I am supposed to teach next Wednesday. Will it happen? I may know by the end of this week.


Louise Gale's Creative Color Challenge Ornament Swap is in full swing. I've mailed the ornaments I created, so I can show you a picture of the finished angels:


The picture turned out a bit bluish, they're not quite that color.

I also received my first ornament of this swap, it arrived yesterday and was created by Peggy in Canada. It's a little Tuckaway Heart. You can tuck a little note under the ribbon (as she did for me) and put the heart somewhere where someone special can find it. I absolutely love this idea!

    Carola....you are back! I've missed you. :) Hope you had a good Thanksgiving weekend. I'm sick of the Christmas music too. My radio station has been hijacked!

    Anyway, I think your ornaments are sooo cute! Wish I had known about the swap so I could have participated too.

    Love your angel ornaments, quite an edgy feel to them. That heart is beautiful, and so special with the tucked away note.

    Hi Carola, your ornaments are lovely and your heart from the swap is divine, I can see that hanging on your tree! I feel kind of sorry for the poor people who have to work in the shops... they must be head cases by the time Christmas actually gets here listening to the music for weeks on end!!

    Schön, dass du deine Engel fertig hast, die sehen klasse aus. Auf dem Tisch sieht es nach Kreativität aus. Ich weiß dieser Tage gar nicht, was ich zuerst und zuletzt machen soll/möchte... soviel, was ich noch erledigen muss/möchte... Da ist es wichtig, mich nicht zu verzetteln. Draußen
    ist alles weiß und es schneit munter vor sich hin.Die Temperaturen sind auch nicht gerade mein Ding... -8° C, beim Schneeschippen sind mir trotz Handschuhe die Finger angefroren ;)
